"Anthem" by Leonard Cohen

"The birds they sang at the break of day
Start again, I heard them say
Don't dwell on what has passed away
or what has yet to be...

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in"

"Salt Wet" by Beth K

salt wet smell & taste it

rain heat seeds of autumn from hot sweaty August days

sunset golden and the cool evening damp;

hair fallen in ringlets around her face,

lying in leaves as soft as moistened moss.

Minstrel Girl, don't know how much this means to you but I am passing an award on to you that was given to me by my wife. You can see the award on my general blog (generallyjim) To receive it you are supposed to create a post in which you list seven things you like, then list seven blogs you like with links so your readers can check them out, and pass the award onto these seven bloggers.

Got it? (also you can copy the award logo from my blog, or Claire's and paste it onto yours.)
